There are only FOUR more weeks left before playoffs!!!  If your team is in playoff range, please check to see if your teammates will have enough games to qualify.  (Division A:  Don’t forget to account for any remaining Bye weeks!)

The Ballpark in Santa Clara (at Newhall & Winchester) has re-opened and will be under the Rocco’s name!

Ballpark, Blue Max & Sportsman’s Lounge will be celebrating with free pool all Memorial Day long !!!

Blue Max & Sportsman will also have food in the afternoon/evening.

Greetings and salutations my pool playing brothers & sisters.

I am writing this today to address some nasty rumors that have been circulating around one of our host locations.

There has been talk about an infestation of sorts at a certain bar in our league.  I am not sure how these rumors have started, but I am here to tell everyone that I have seen the health inspection reports personally & there has not been, in the past, nor is there one at present, any infestation of any kind.  I want everyone to be at ease when at this location & play with a clear peace of mind.

I appreciate those individuals that brought this to my attention, but please do not spread false rumors or innuendoes, it only hurts the good name of our gracious hosts.  If anyone has any information contrary to this writing, please inform me & me alone.  I believe every captain in the league has my contact information.

All of week 16 stats are now complete.

We have another team in the B division which has changed home-bars.

5th Quarter II will now be known as ‘Normandy II’, since they have moved to Normandy Lounge.  Team Captain is still Matt Maes.

The original Normandy team will now be known as ‘Normandy I’.  Team Captain is still Lavelle Jones.

• Double-check your scoresheet with your opponents at the end of league night.
• Initials must be put in the game boxes when splitting sets between players.  Without them, we don’t know who played which game(s).  This affects statistic reports.

Week 13 Stats are complete for both divisions.

Now that we have completed the first half of the regular season, it’s a good time to do some stat reviews!

If you have any envelopes/money that still hasn’t been turned in, please do so immediately!  Late penalties can add up quickly.  On a positive note, the on-time bonuses will be given out to teams that have had no late envelopes this first half of the season (two free wins).  All teams will have another opportunity to receive this bonus at the end of the second half also, but you must have no late envelopes.

The week 13 stats will be posted this weekend (as long as there aren’t too many late envelopes), so both divisions will have an accurate view of where their team is placed in the overall standings.

Please take a moment to look over the spreadsheets and check for things like misspelled names, and how many games your teammates need to qualify (for playoffs & top shooter).  If you have any questions or find any errors of any kind, contact Helen or Dave right away.

One of the Division B teams has changed bar locations:

The Patio team will now be playing out of KC Mike’s, and will be known as “KC Mike’s I”.  As you know, there is already a team there  (KC Mike’s II).  Unfortunately, there will be some weeks that both teams will be playing at KC’s at the same time.  No way to avoid that since all the matches are already set.

Also, Galaxy is under new ownership, so their official business name is now “The G”.  You will see this name change in the updated schedules, but the address is still the same (see participating bars).

All schedules/downloads on this website have been updated with these changes.
